Lil Wayne is hoping to recruit the law to his side in his battle with Pharma bro Martin Shkreli over unauthorized leaks of Tha Carter V. According to TMZ, Weezy has threatened to Shkreli if he shares any more material from his long-awaited album.
Lil Wayne’s legal team is demanding Shkreli hand over his copy of the album, which he purchased for an undisclosed amount after it was never issued publicly. If Shkreli leaks any more of the album, Wayne’s lawyers and Universal Music Group will slap him with a big fat lawsuit, according to the gossip site.
Thus far, Shkreli has previewed a few of the tracks from the supposed copy of C5. The latest one is a collaboration with Kendrick Lamar called “Mona Lisa.” We’ll see if he is brave/unwise enough to continue teasing content from the record.
