Nearly 9 years later we get the T-Wayne album!
In 2008 during the height of their dominance on the charts and radio, T-Pain and Lil’ Wayne formed the duo T-Wayne. After delivering smash-hits like “Got Money” and “Can’t Believe It,” the pair recorded an album together but due to label complications and Lil’ Wayne’s legal issues in 2010, the project was shelved.
On Wednesday (May 18), T-Pain tweeted artwork for T-Wayne with the caption “Do it?,” teasing fans that the joint album would soon come to light. Less than 24 hours after that, the Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter surprisingly drops the full project. The 8-track collaborative effort includes songs like “He Rap He Sang,” “DAMN DAMN DAMN,” “Snap Ya Fangas” and “Heavy Chevy.”
